Suspension
Suspension - that feeling of being held between one state and another, when what comes next has not yet fully taken shape.
What fascinated me was the sense of something existing between states, neither entirely landscape nor entirely abstract. The colours merge and shift without fully resolving, while the darker linear marks suggest a kind of bridge or connection through the painting. Warmer and cooler areas seem to belong to different states, times or imagined places, yet somehow coexist within the same space.
Suspension became a reflection on transition, being held between what has been and what is still forming, in that uncertain but strangely compelling space before the next thing becomes clear.

Suspension brings an atmospheric, contemplative presence to a space - its shifting colour and ambiguous forms inviting the eye to wander and the mind to linger between what is familiar and what is still unfolding.
